Self Luminous Exit Signs have increased in popularity over the last 20 years because of they have no maintenance requirements and do not need electricity to operate. Eliminate the electrician, the work, and the time associated with installing conventional exit signs and purchase an Self Luminous exit sign today. Powerful Tritium illumination technology will provide 10 or 20 years of reliable EXIT lighting (depending on the model purchased). This Self Luminous Exit Sign is "single sided", which means it reads "EXIT" from just one side. Single sided exit signs are suitable for mounting over doors or along hallways. Illumination Technology
Tritium, an isotope of hydrogen, is a naturally occuring self-illuminating gas that has been adapted to exit signs to create a unique and sign which is non-electrical and maintenance free. "Tritium exit signs" is another common name for self-luminous models. The tritium gas contained in Self Luminous Exit Signs is enclosed in shatterproof borosilicate tubes that are protected by a clear polycarbonate face shield and impact-resistant thermoplastic housing.

Self Luminous Exit Signs are guaranteed to be code compliant throughout North America for both indoor and outdoor applications. They are UL 924 Listed for the US and Canada and meet the NFPA Life Safety Code as well as IBC and ICC. Installation
Self Luminous Exit Signs are extremely simple to install, a professional is not needed. Simply follow the handy instructions provided with the sign and use the included hardware. Back mount your Tritium exit sign to the wall, or use the included aluminum mounting bracket to install it by the end (flag mount) or top (ceiling mount).
