How Photoluminescent Exit Signs Work
Photoluminescent exit signs use stored light from normal building illumination and glow when the surrounding light is reduced. They do not require electrical wiring or battery backup, but they do need proper light exposure before an outage.
Before ordering, confirm viewing distance, single- or double-sided visibility, mounting style, and acceptance with the authority having jurisdiction for the project.
