Unlimited Lights LLC ("Unlimited Lights," "we," "us," or "our") operates selfluminousexitsign.com and the related store services (the "Services"). Shopify provides the ecommerce platform used to deliver the Services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and retain personal information when you visit the site, make a purchase, request a quote, create an account, or otherwise communicate with us.

Personal Information We Collect

The information we collect depends on how you interact with the Services and may include:

• Contact and account information: name, company, billing and shipping address, email address, phone number, account credentials, and saved preferences.
• Order and transaction information: products viewed or ordered, cart contents, quote details, order status, returns, shipping details, and transaction records.
• Payment information: payment method and payment confirmation information. Shopify and the payment provider selected at checkout process payment-card and financial-account details. We do not use those details for analytics.
• Communications: information you provide in contact, quote, support, recycling, or other messages sent to us.
• Necessary technical information: IP address, browser and device information, security and fraud signals, cookie identifiers, and activity needed to operate the storefront, cart, checkout, account, and security functions.
• Optional analytics information: only after you choose Allow analytics, our only custom Google Analytics 4 event is location_link_click, sent when you select a state- or city-related link. That custom event contains target_type (state or city) and a controlled target_slug. Google Analytics also adds standard event and session metadata and may generate automatic events such as session_start, first_visit, and user_engagement. Analytics data may include a sanitized page origin and path, browser language, basic device category, pseudonymous client and session identifiers, and country and region derived from the IP address.

Our optional analytics implementation does not send an automatic page_view event. Google Analytics Enhanced Measurement is disabled. Granular location and device reporting is also disabled, which prevents Analytics reporting of inferred city, latitude, longitude, and granular device fields; country, region, and basic device category may still be logged. Google uses the IP address at collection to derive available geographic information and states that it discards the IP address before logging. We do not send names, email addresses, phone numbers, mailing addresses, account credentials, order numbers, payment information, form contents, typed search text, or full URLs containing query parameters to Google Analytics. Email addresses and configured URL parameters are redacted as an additional safeguard.

Sources of Personal Information

We collect information directly from you; automatically through the necessary operation and security features of the Services; from Shopify and service providers that support payments, shipping, fraud prevention, hosting, communications, and customer support; and, only after analytics consent, through Google Analytics 4.

How We Use Personal Information

We use personal information to:

• operate the store, cart, checkout, accounts, and customer-service features;
• process payments, fulfill and ship orders, handle returns, and respond to quote or support requests;
• protect the Services, customers, and our business from fraud, abuse, security incidents, and unlawful activity;
• maintain business, tax, warranty, compliance, and transaction records;
• comply with legal obligations and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims;
• send product or company updates only when you separately choose to receive them; and
• when you allow analytics, count state- and city-related link selections and improve navigation and content.

Cookies and Optional Analytics

Necessary cookies and similar technologies support functions such as the cart, checkout, account authentication, security, fraud prevention, and remembering your privacy choice. These technologies operate regardless of your optional analytics choice when they are necessary to provide a feature you request.

Google Analytics 4 is optional. The Google Analytics tag is not loaded and no analytics event is sent unless you choose Allow analytics. If allowed, analytics cookies are configured to expire no later than 30 days after they are set or refreshed. Google advertising storage, advertising-user-data, and advertising-personalization consent signals remain denied. Google Signals, advertising personalization, remarketing, Google Ads and AdSense links, Enhanced Measurement, and granular location and device reporting are disabled.

You can choose Necessary only, allow analytics, or withdraw analytics permission at any time by using the Cookie Preferences button in the site footer. Withdrawing permission stops future Google Analytics collection from this site and causes the site to remove the Google Analytics cookies it can access.

Advertising, Sale, Sharing, and Shopify Network Intelligence

We do not display third-party or behaviorally targeted advertisements, operate advertising campaigns, or use Google Analytics for advertising. We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration.

Shopify Network Intelligence is enabled for this store. This Shopify feature may combine information about your interactions with our store with information from your interactions with Shopify and other merchants to provide enhanced Shopify services, personalization, measurement, security, and business insights. We are responsible for our decision to enable and use the feature and for our related privacy obligations. Shopify determines and performs aspects of the cross-merchant processing under its own privacy terms; depending on the information and processing involved, a privacy request may need to be handled by us, Shopify, or both. Depending on where you live, aspects of this processing may be legally defined as a "sale," "sharing," or targeted advertising even though we do not receive money for personal information or operate advertising campaigns. You can exercise an applicable opt-out through Your Privacy Choices or a recognized Global Privacy Control signal.

How We Disclose Personal Information

We disclose information only as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including:

• to Shopify and vendors that provide hosting, ecommerce, payment processing, fraud prevention, customer support, communications, shipping, fulfillment, cloud storage, and other operational services;
• to Google Analytics, only after analytics consent, for the limited measurement described above;
• when you direct us to disclose information, such as to a carrier that will deliver an order;
• to professional advisers, regulators, courts, law enforcement, or other parties when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights and safety, investigate misconduct, or establish or defend legal claims; and
• in connection with a proposed or completed merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or transfer of business assets, subject to appropriate safeguards.

Service providers may process personal information only to provide services to us, subject to their agreements and applicable law.

Shopify

Shopify hosts the store and processes information needed to provide its ecommerce services. Because Shopify Network Intelligence is enabled, Shopify also processes information about interactions with this store together with information from Shopify and other merchants to provide the enhanced features described above. We and Shopify each have responsibilities for processing conducted within our respective roles. Information submitted through the store may be transmitted to Shopify and operational service providers in countries other than the country where you live. Retention

We retain order, account, support, transaction, security, and legal records only as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which they were collected, including to provide the Services, fulfill orders, maintain business and tax records, prevent fraud, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and comply with law.

Optional analytics cookies expire no later than 30 days after they are set or refreshed. Google Analytics event and user data is configured for two-month retention, with retention not reset by new activity. Aggregate or de-identified reports that are not reasonably linked to an individual may be retained longer. Cookie lifetime and server-side report retention are separate.

Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a portable copy of your personal information; object to or restrict certain processing; withdraw consent; or appeal a decision regarding a privacy request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right. We may need to verify your identity and authority before completing a request.

We honor Global Privacy Control signals where required by law, including as an opt-out of Shopify Network Intelligence processing that applicable law treats as sale, sharing, or targeted advertising. Optional Google Analytics remains controlled separately by the analytics choice described above. You may also record an opt-out through Your Privacy Choices.

You may unsubscribe from optional promotional email by using the unsubscribe link in the message. We may still send non-promotional communications concerning an account, order, quote, support request, or legal notice.

Children's Information

The Services are intended for business purchasers and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 and do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No system or transmission method is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Third-Party Links

The Services may link to websites or services we do not control. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices, which you should review before providing information.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to our practices, technology, or legal obligations. We will post the revised Policy here, update the date above, and provide any additional notice required by law.
