Overview
Since Hurricane Sandy and the following Nor'Easter storms, local fire and building departments started looking for more robust, waterproof exit signs. That's why we have developed the New Jersey self luminous exit sign - the most waterproof and durable exit sign in an affordable price range.
The SL-NJ has an aluminum housing with a shatter-proof polycarbonate lens that is highly resistant to impact and corrosion. Illumination is provided by naturally glowing tritium tubes instead of electricity, and are not susceptible to fusing or shorting-out like other exit signs.
You can literally submerge these signs in ocean water and they will still work! It's now the preferred sign in Atlantic City, Trenton and Asbury Park.

Single or Double-Faced - choose a double-sided sign for ceiling or end-mounted SL signs. Great for T-junctions and multiple exits points.
Frames - select black, bronze or white outer frame.
Housing - choose ABS thermoplastic or vandal-proof housing. Standard housing is die-cast aluminum.
Swivel Pendant Kits - for high or angled ceilings. Available in 12", 24", 36", or 48" pendants.
