Overview
When you work in a state with a capital as big as New York City, your company needs to have more than just a standard exit sign installed. We have specially developed a New York self luminous exit sign that takes all the guess work out of purchasing emergency fixtures.
They SL-NY features a larger exit stencil that is 8" wide with a 1/2" stroke, rather than the 6" x 1/4" stencil required in most states. Stencils are only available in red, as mandated by the NYC Building Commission. They also have a stronger anodized aluminum or vandal-proof housing to make them the strongest SL sign we carry.
The self-illuminating tritium tubes inside New York self luminous exit signs is bright enough to meet viewing distance standards across the state including White Plains, Buffalo and New York City.
